Steve Green
About Me:
I spent most of my life living in South Dakota. I grew up in Burke, SD, lived for a time in Dupree, SD and have spent the last 19 years in Springfield. My wife Jolene and I have been married for over 30 years and have 2 adult children.
I have worked in the human services and construction and building trades fields. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling and have spent the past 19 years working with troubled youth in a residential setting prior to joining ERC in 2010.
Determination, follow through, thoroughness, and never giving up are some of the strengths that I possess that I believe are very beneficial for candidates that I work with.
Some of my interests include, golf, duck hunting, and woodworking. I have also been involved in the communities where I have lived. I currently am the treasurer for the Springfield Chamber of Commerce and a past president as well.
Why Recruit?
I was born and raised in a family that possessed a very strong and solid work ethic. I have always prided myself in securing employment and then maintaining it for an extended period of time. Some of those philosophies in regards to work may have kept me from expanding my horizons and taking advantage of better opportunities out there. After getting caught up in the corporate rat race, I lost my job and I came to the conclusion that there are better opportunities out there for everyone.
Sometimes our Midwest values lock us into a job and there is a certain comfort level involved that keeps us in that job. What that job may be lacking, however is satisfaction. It is my goal to find those perfect opportunities for people, and match candidates with clients in order to increase the job satisfaction that we sometimes give up. I want to be able to help guide people from their current comfort zones into a new world of opportunity and expanded horizons.
Here at ERC, I believe we have the tools and skills in order to assist people in finding their perfect opportunity and to find the satisfaction in life that we all are looking for.
