POSITION:

Lean / Continuous Improvement Manager

  • $65,000 - + DOE

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

  • Implement Continuous Improvement Systems utilizing Lean and Quality principles and methods.
  • Manage quality system and continuous improvement system to develop operations strategies.
  • Assist in the development of a quality/lean/continuous improvement focus and culture throughout the plant.
  • Lead Kaizen events, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Lean and Continuous Improvement efforts.
  • Work with all departments to create a more cost effective operation by eliminating waste, improving quality, manage inventories and identify any operational efficiencies and implement corrective action plans.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

  • S. in Engineering or technically related degree.
  • 5+ years in a Continuous Improvement focused role.
  • Conceptual thinking and problem solver.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and written.
  • Able to do presentation to individuals, small groups and large groups.
  • Ability to work across teams to develop a culture of continuous improvement/quality/lean.
