Our company is a regional leader in the design and production of precast architectural and structural concrete products. They are now looking for Project Accountant.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- Manage contracts throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring reviews are efficient and all required documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
- Coordinate with internal departments to track compliance documents such as payroll records, insurance, lien waivers, and bonds, while accurately applying customer payments.
- Oversee billing and change order processes, ensuring invoices are prepared correctly, discrepancies are resolved, and updates are properly recorded.
- Support project setup and maintenance by entering subcontract information, change orders, and uploading related documentation into company systems.
- Handle sales and use tax reporting for multiple states and stay current on professional knowledge while assisting with additional tasks assigned by the Controller.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of construction/manufacturing accounting experience.
- Able to handle several tasks during the day while keeping work organized and on schedule.
- Works well with others and maintains a courteous, flexible, and reliable attitude.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Sage 300 CRE; experience with document tools like DocuSign or Laserfiche is helpful.
- Communicates clearly in writing and conversation, with strong attention to detail and good time management.
- Familiar with construction contracts (AIA/AGC) and basic credit, collections, and mechanic’s lien requirements.
