THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
The Human Resources Manager will oversee a broad range of HR functions within a manufacturing or operational environment. This role partners with leadership and employees to support a positive workplace, maintain consistent policies and practices, and align people strategies with organizational objectives.
- Lead day-to-day human resources activities, including employee relations, attendance, workplace policies, disciplinary matters, safety initiatives, and employee engagement.
- Partner with site and organizational leadership to establish workforce priorities, operational objectives, and plans that support business performance.
- Develop and coordinate recruiting efforts for both hourly and professional positions, including candidate selection, hiring processes, onboarding, and new employee orientation.
- Build employee development and training programs that support organizational needs in areas such as safety, quality, productivity, performance, and customer service.
- Manage performance management processes and support organizational development initiatives, succession planning, and employee growth.
- Administer employee compensation and benefit programs while ensuring policies and practices are applied consistently across the organization.
- Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws, company policies, and internal procedures while keeping HR records, personnel documentation, attendance information, and related files accurate and current.
- Coordinate workplace safety, workers' compensation, risk management, and related loss-prevention activities in partnership with operational leadership.
- Support a constructive employee environment through effective communication, employee involvement, and proactive strategies for maintaining positive workplace relations.
- Maintain and update HR-related procedures, documentation, and quality-system requirements as needed, including support for applicable audit or certification standards.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- 5+ years experience in a Human Resources.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Human Resources – preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Management Experience.
- Experience in evaluation procedures, formulating policies, and developing and implementing new strategies.
- Experience in a Manufacturing facility.
- Knowledge of all levels of employment, wage, and salary laws.
- Ability to analyze and assess training and development needs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
