THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- Use design and drafting software to create and update drawings, layouts, and models for both existing products and new designs.
- Build and manage digital models and part information used within the company’s operating systems.
- Keep drawing files and supporting documentation organized, current, and easy to reference.
- Support material takeoffs and contribute visuals or information used in customer-facing presentations.
- Work alongside engineers to help production and manufacturing teams clearly understand design intent, supporting quality, accuracy, and efficient builds.
BACKGROUND PROFILE
- AAS in AutoCAD, Engineering Technology, Drafting and Design or other related field.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks preferred.
- Working understanding of drafting/design standards and processes and GD&T.
- Working Knowledge of ERP systems
- Solid communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. May include some overnight travel.
