THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- Develop and maintain detailed product and production cost models using labor, material, overhead, equipment, and historical performance data.
- Analyze cost variances and identify the factors driving differences between planned, standard, and actual results.
- Work closely with operations, purchasing, engineering, and finance to validate cost assumptions and improve costing accuracy.
- Support new products, process changes, and other business initiatives by evaluating financial impacts and developing cost scenarios.
- Maintain costing information and reporting tools used to monitor trends, profitability, margins, and potential financial risks.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and cost-improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Prepare financial analysis and business cases that help leadership evaluate investments, new opportunities, and operational decisions.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Related Field.
- 2+ Years Cost Accounting or Financial analysis.
- Experience in manufacturing – preferred.
