Our client is a midwestern biofuels enterprise that owns biorefineries across the Midwest. WHAT THIS COMPANY OFFERS YOU:
- $58,000 + for limited experience and $75,000+ for 3+ years of experience.
- Potential for bonus based on company and personal performance.
- Benefits that include health care package, generous 401k, hybrid remote schedule, and PTO.
- Normal Business Hours M-F with additional hours as needed.
- Hybrid work schedule available, work remotely up to 2 days per week, based on demands of specific tasks and/or personal work preferences.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
You will be responsible for account analysis, tax and financial report preparation related to the operations of the company. They will provide financial information to management in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as promulgated by FASB, SEC, and other regulatory standards.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field; or equivalent combination of education and direct work experience.
- Experience with commodity trading/hedging preferred.
- GAAP financial reporting experience – preferred.
- High levels of paying attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Able to work with a high level of confidentiality while maintaining sensitive information.
