THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- Lead the production team to meet production targets, identify efficiencies, ensure safe work environment, and assist with production planning.
- Lead Lean Initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, SMED, and VSM.
- Track and improve scrap rates, setup times and on time delivery.
- Manage, coach, train, evaluate and discipline employees
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
BACKGROUND PROFILE
- HS Diploma with AAS or BS in a manufacturing related field-preferred.
- 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting with 2 years or more in a leadership position.
- Technical background in machining and fabrication.
- Working knowledge of and implementing and monitoring Lean Initiatives and Kaizen events.
- Proficient with ERM/MRP systems and other scheduling tools and processes.
